Heat transfer model in buildings. Control systems using sliding modes

Abstract:

This article implements a mathematical model to simulate the thermal zones in a building and it is used to assess the impact of thermal insulation coating applications on the internal temperature. In order to validate the mathematical model and the simulator, an experiment has been designed and built with physical models at a reduced scale, in which the thermal insulation coasting has been applied on their interior and exterior faces. The comparison of the obtained results are shown by means of mathematical simulation and compiled experimental data, which makes it possible to analyse the thermal insulation properties of the employed coatings.
