The illumination of architectural heritage: particular cases of study

Abstract:

The perception of architectural heritage with sunlight is easy, in fact, most of the building are projected at a time when there was not even electrification, but with the lack of light or urban lighting the observation becomes almost impossible.

With the arrival of a growing tourism and the increase of nightlife the number of cases of heritage lighting have increased They have been done without any rigor, without getting highlight the details of the architecture, which even end up degrading it to a game of light and shadow without meaning ,

In addition, the particularity of some heritage buildings such as its high height, the underground construction, the material or color of its coating, etc. deserves an exhaustive analysis of the elements to be illuminated, the problems found in some installations already placed, both for the elements used and for the effects produced on the building fact and the establishment of proposals of alternatives and solutions to obtain the best results.
